Gelato is unparalleled to ice cream, and here at I Scream Gelato, contrary to popular opinion – we are not an ice cream shop. Our unique flavors of gelato, good selection of decadent desserts, and excellent espresso – set us apart from any ice cream shop – and also just the sheer fact we don’t serve ice cream.
I Scream Gelato Breckenridge began as a passion project and has turned into a passion that can connect people over Gelato. Gelato was created in Italy – it is an Italian dessert often enjoyed overseas and throughout Europe. Ice cream and ice cream shops are all over Colorado, and while the overall concept is similar, the dessert itself is very different. There is no way to juxtapose the two treats.
I Scream Gelato Breckenridge sources our gelato ingredients straight from Italy – each scoop dips into all the layers and assortment of pieces that went into its creation so it can be served fresh to you! Our menu offers various flavors inspired by the atmosphere and people of Colorado. I Scream was established in Breckenridge, our home, for a good reason.
Breckenridge, Colorado, is a great place for trying new things, eating good food, and indulging in sweet treats! Main Street is the epicenter of Breckenridge. (We realize some people would argue it is Isak Heartstone, the resident troll, but the verdict is still out…) We are located a few doors down from Mountain Top Cookie Shop.
The people of Breckenridge have genuinely inspired the flavor and toppings we provide in-store. We want to encapsulate that magical feeling you have in Colorado or downtown Breckenridge. While it can be challenging to churn that up and turn it into gelato, espresso, or affogatos, for that matter – we have done it!
Here at I Scream Gelato, we aim to provide good food, a fun atmosphere, and an assortment of desserts you can post on Instagram. Our presentation is something we pride ourselves on, and if you take one look at our gelato display – you will want to post a picture.

Similar to a cafe or restaurant experience, we want to ensure your dining experience is superior! Everything on our menu is fresh and crafted to perfection. The passion that started this project should be shared with others; that is precisely what we are doing here at I Scream.
Our chefs here at I Scream Gelato in Breckenridge are exceptionally skilled and highly trained in the art of flavor. They create a selection of unique, seasonal, and forever tasty flavors. They mix and match bits of inspiration from their own life experiences with food, making each scoop of gelato unique. We are constantly moving forward to evolve in our creations.
From gelato served between pancakes to gelato on a Belgian waffle or our fresh and fluffy bubble waffle cones. We present an interactive experience where you choose your toppings and determine what kind of sweets, flavors, and toppings you want to indulge in. Our toppings and flavors rotate, so you never have to eat the same thing twice – although you will want to!
It can be served with pancakes, espresso, waffles, or cones, and up to 3 toppings of your choice for free! We never disappoint; our flavors are always inviting and innovative!
You can also have special toppings such as – Ferraro Roche, Hershey Cookies and Cream, or Kinder Bueno. Lastly. Sauces are also provided: peanut butter, maple, chocolate/white chocolate syrup, and caramel syrup!
Our chefs are constantly working on new creations to present to our customers. It is a part of the environment to evolve and push forward with other contemporary inventions. Our flavors or never what you expected, but they are consistently excellent!

Save yourself a trip, and we will deliver delicious gelato, savory smoothies, or the milkiest milkshakes straight to you, and we work with DoorDash and Warrior Xpress. We offer to-go boxes in various sizes feeding up to eight people – featuring up to four flavors of our glorious gelato. The price of delivery fees can vary and will change according to the service used.
